About Us

We are excited to announce the launch of Joy Now Ministries & Podcast a fresh chapter following over 20 years as Gethsemane Bible Baptist Church. After closing our doors in 2019, we have reimagined our mission and are committed to fostering community outreach and building strong relationships within our neighborhood.

Our organization has partnered with Drug Addiction Facilities and Homeless Shelters for Women in Crisis with Children to address critical needs and support the revitalization of our community.

Our primary goal is to play a pivotal role in the healing process by bridging the gap between sobriety and reintegration into family life or achieving stability. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment that aids individuals in transitioning from crisis to normalcy, ultimately working towards rebuilding strong, resilient communities.

Through our dedicated efforts, we aim to be a significant part of each individual’s journey towards recovery and stability, contributing to a more cohesive and supportive neighborhood.

Our mission is to support as many individuals as possible who are struggling with addiction, having successfully completed phase one of the program. We also provide a safe haven for "Moms in Crisis with Children," helping them escape unsafe situations. Through Joy Now Ministries and Podcast, we embrace the philosophy of "Telling Our Story Our Way." We aim to share our success stories and conduct interviews with those we’ve assisted, spreading empowerment, encouragement, and hope. We cannot achieve this mission without your invaluable support. Together, we have the power to transform lives.
